Mark Easton
Mark Easton is BBC Home Editor, heading BBC News ‘UK Specialists Unit’ as well as broadcasting on television, radio and online.
He is an award winning documentary maker and news journalist and his BBC blog was recently nominated for an international Online Journalism Award.
In 2005 he wrote and presented a series of six television documentaries for BBC2, “The Happiness Formula”, which studied the growth and impact of the politics of well-being.
Before taking up his current post, Mark was Home and Social Affairs Editor at Channel 4 Television and Political Editor at Channel 5 television. He is married with four children and lives in North London.
