Jay Griffiths
Jay Griffiths is a writer whose work has appeared in The London Review of Books, The Guardian, The Ecologist, New Internationalist, Utne, The Idler and BBC History Magazine. She is the author of one novel Anarchipelago (2007) and two non-fiction works: Pip-Pip: A Sideways Look at Time, which won the 2003 Barnes and Noble Discover Award for best new non-fiction, and Wild: An Elemental Journey, which won the Orion Book Award in 2007. Her books have been described by Ruth Padel as “insightful, effervescent and lavishly written” and “like a light beam in the fog of twenty-first century debate” by Barry Lopez.
