Anneliese Emmans Dean

Anneliese Emmans Dean is a poet, long-time supporter of nef, co-founder of YorkLETS and, more recently, founder of theBigBuzz, which promotes sustainability through creativity.
Anneliese performs her award-winning poetry shows in venues nationwide, from the conventional – Ledbury Poetry Festival and Oxford Playhouse – to the less conventional – the UK’s largest planetarium and Castle Howard Arboretum.
Her satirical poems on current affairs are often broadcast on BBC radio, including Radio 4’s Today programme. Her ‘Rhyme and Dine’ evenings celebrate local food. And her eco-musicals – Compost! The (mini-)Musical and Go MAD! (A global warming warning) – are preformed with gusto by schools, Brownies and Cubs and, from scratch in 30 minutes, by festival goers.
Today’s show, ‘Another Fine Mess …’, is Anneliese’s wry, rhythm-and-rhyme look at the credit crunch, and how we can create a better way of working the other side of it.
