CARBON RATION BOOK

Fellow citizens of planet earth,

The dark threat of climate change looms large over all of us. Are you feeling helpless, doomed? Are we rushing headlong towards the extinction of humankind? It’s time to sit down, have a nice cup of tea, and ask yourself “What can we do right now, today, this instant?”.

Here’s something. The Ministry of Trying to Do Something About It have issued ration books so you can play your part in transforming our world into a cleaner and more equitable place – and make yourself a good deal happier along the way.

Whilst small actions can lead to change, our ration book shows that a significant shift in the way we live our lives and reducing the sheer amount of stuff we consume is needed. Ration Me Up shows you your fair share of the world’s resources, revealing just how simple it is to minimise your impact on the planet.

Try it. Make active choices and change your habits. You might even find that consuming less opens a whole new world of possibilities. With determination, good cheer and your help we can create a safer, fairer world. A planet we’re proud to pass on to future generations.

Have you Rationed Up?
If you’ve used the Ration Book already use leave a comment at the bottom of this page to let us us know how you got on.

Good luck, and we’re with you every step of the way.

Yours,

All at The Ministry of Trying to Do Something About It

what a fabulous idea. As an art directorin the film industry, being hands on is what i do. Making, adapting re-using is what it’s all about.

I would like one too. It would be a great experiment in how much carbon we actually use and how much we actually can use in order to not harm the environment.

All this personal rationing could drive the personal lives of citizens of Britain insane!

This emphasis by Goverment “Do Something” bodies seems a delibrate ploy to shift the blaim for most polluting which comes from industry…so you tighten your belt first Mr Goverment.

Or could’nt we all just stop breathing out CO2 by simply stopping breathing? That must help? Again, you first!

Plant more trees, live in tents and caves.

@J Neueum

You do realise that the Ministry of Trying to Do Something About It isn’t actually a Government body, don’t you?

Best
Andy
